My Mom and I made a trip to visit family on Cape Cod, Massachusettes, in Harwichport. Mom was so excited she didn't sleep
a wink the night before we left, (as you can see in her eyes). So after the 5 to 6 hours of traveling, Mom is Totaled!
...and within 5 minutes of reaching the house at Harwichport...
Joe at North Chatham Light House.
While searching for a boat load of Cherry Stone Clams at Wellfleet Harbor (which we never found), we came across this place...Pamet
Harbor. This is where I learned why Piss Clams are called "Piss Clams". Guess what else I found there???
These give a whole new meaning to "digging-up something for Supper".
Eight dozen total for todays catch, along with one dozen oysters.
"We'll steam these ones in the pot and have the others on-the-half-shell".
The very next day we went back to Pamet Harbor and took 10 dozen more to bring home with us. "Come with me my little
Pretties".
